An AI can turn a short prompt into a page that actually looks like a website. The layout is tidy, the pictures are in place, and the sentences run on without obvious mistakes. That is usually as far as it goes. The domain still has to be sorted, the hosting still has to be paid for, and the files still have to be put where people can actually reach them. Until that is done the page is just a picture of a website. Even after it is online, the contact form may not send, the map may not load, and the phone number may be hard to find on a phone. None of these things are dramatic. They are just the ordinary reasons a customer gives up and looks somewhere else.
Most of the leftover work is small. Headings that could belong to any business. A button that does nothing useful once you are on a mobile. Pictures that are from the other side of the planet. Copy that sounds like it was written for a different town, in a different country even.. The AI did what it was asked. It did not ask whether the page sounds like the person who owns the business, or whether a visitor can find the opening hours without scrolling past three sections of fluff. Those are the bits that still have to be taken out or rewritten by hand.
We start with the same kind of prompt you might use. Refine it a few times and then we remove or re-work the parts that do not work on a phone, the parts that do not sound like your business, and the parts that are only there because they looked modern in the first draft. What remains is a working website with your name on it. It is not an experiment and it is not an agency production. It is the ordinary way of turning a decent starting point into something a customer can actually use. If you need help with this just get in touch!
