I’ve been building websites for nearly 30 years now, and somewhere along the way I stopped counting – until recently, when I realised I’ve developed 415 websites for people and businesses all over New Zealand. It’s a long list, and a reminder of how many projects, conversations, rescues, rebuilds, and late‑night fixes have shaped what I do.
These days my work is quieter and more focused. I build new websites, repair old ones, and look after the people behind them. A lot of my time is spent rescuing sites that have stalled, broken, or been left unfinished – something I’ve become surprisingly good at. I like taking something that’s not working and getting it running smoothly again.
I also spend time exploring AI, especially where it intersects with website design, structure, and creative problem‑solving. Some of that ends up in experimental projects like Reality Warped; some of it simply helps me think differently about the work I do for clients.
My approach is calm, practical, and reflective. No hype, no pressure, no corporate noise. Just clear communication, steady progress, and a genuine effort to make things easy for the people I work with. My motto has always been simple: be reasonable.
If you need a website built, repaired, refreshed, or simply looked after properly, I’m here to help. I aim to keep things prompt, economical, and stress‑free – and if you just want to talk through your options, I’m always happy to do that too.
